Meet Dr. Raja
Dr. Nabila Raja has been practicing dentistry since 2006 and has completed a residency in Advanced Education in General and Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. She is passionate about providing her patients with the gold standard of care and is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. She thrives on building lasting relationships with her patients. Dr. Raja is a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong problem solving skills which serves her in exceptional patient care.
Outside of work, Dr. Raja enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves to travel, cook and is a fitness enthusiast.
Dr. Raja is eager to provide the best possible dental care to all her patients at Smiles One.
Meet Dr. Vera Liu
Dr. Liu graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Medicine prior to completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Wellspan York Hospital. She is a compassionate dentist dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare to patients of all ages. Since early 2023, Dr. Liu has been working with us, combining her well-honed dental surgical and restorative skills with her ability and passion for putting people at ease to provide patients with the highest level of care possible. She believes in taking a comprehensive care approach to dental health, focusing not only on treating dental issues but also on disease prevention and patient education.
In addition to her expertise, Dr. Liu is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She completed a master's course at the Advanced Implant Center and has experience in treating patients with specialneeds and disabilities. Furthermore, Dr. Liu is a certified Invisalign provider, offering clear aligner orthodontic procedures.
Outside of the office, Dr. Liu enjoys participating in dental outreach programs such as Mission of Mercy, where she donates her time and expertise to underserved communities. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their puppy, Charlie. Besides English, she is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
As a new mother, Dr. Liu and her husband are excited to raise their family in the South Hills. Alongside Smiles One Family Dentistry, she is eager to serve her community and patients with care and professionalism—honestly, kindly, and with as much precision as humanly possible, ensuring all patients leave with a big smile. Dr. Liu looks forward to meeting all of our patients and helping them with their care!

What To Expect At Your First Visit
Your first visit is the start of a journey toward optimal oral health. Adults and children alike can expect a thorough examination, a friendly conversation about dental history and goals, and a clear plan for future care, all in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
During your appointment, we will take time to get to know you and your goals. Whether it’s to maintain a healthy smile or you want to discuss additional treatment options, we are here to listen. Your dentist will then conduct a comprehensive exam and give an overview of your oral health. This allows us to explain the root causes of any issues and walk you through your treatment options. We will schedule any follow-up appointments before you leave.
